I remember In The Nursery from owning their 1988 ‘Sonority’ EP, but I couldn’t believe that this is their 31st album. Their music has changed over the years from rhythmic electronica to something more akin to Godspeed You! Black Emperor, but for me that’s no bad thing. This album is a soundtrack to the 1928 surrealist film of the same name, soon to be granted a theatre re-release, but works well in its own right.
