The Black Capsule - The Black Capsule (Bandcamp)

This New York sextet hail from New York, and their debut album is superb psychedelic/stoner rock with a twin drummer attack, and most tracks also featuring some great guitar/organ interplay. While I wasn’t sure about it on the first hearing, with the hippy vibe of Grateful Dead-soundalike ‘Seven Roses' opening the disc, ‘Joanna' and 'After All' soon raised it to another level, making for an exceptional first effort.
