The Murder Capital - When I Have Fears (Human Season Records)

As soon as I heard ‘Green And Blue’ I knew that The Murder Capital would be a band to watch, and their debut album has proved me right. This Irish five-piece have produced a post-punk classic (other bands have tried but this is the real thing), full of impassioned vocals and chiming off-kilter guitars. The album reveals extra nuances each time you hear it, and it fully deserves its many great reviews.
