FEELS - Post Earth (Wichita)

 

I was about to add ‘Car’ to the New Band Special, but found that its parent album had just been issued, so I’m reviewing that instead. ‘Car' is a great taster for the album, and the L.A. post-punk four-piece have produced a more focussed sound than on their Ty Segall-produced debut. While the overall theme of the record is pre-apocalyptic, the music can be surprisingly upbeat and hopeful. Well worth a listen.
