For the fifth volume of their ‘Diversions’ series, The Unthanks have picked a selection of live recordings where they performed the song a cappella. They are joined by band member Niopha Keegan to make a vocal trio, and the songs are a mixture of new arrangements of old favourites, and brand new songs given their inimitable treatment. A new studio album is long overdue, but this will do nicely for now.
