Thee Of Sees - Face Stabber (Castle Face)

 

Thee Oh Sees can be something of a hit and miss band for me, loving ‘A Weird Exits’ and ‘Orc’, and not so keen on some of their other stuff, but this one hits the spot. They throw everything into the mix, so we get psyche rubbing shoulders with jazz, metal, prog, punk and krautrock, and while that sounds like it shouldn’t work, it actually does. Love the artwork as well, so it’s another winner from the band.
