The first two albums by Garcia Peoples consisted of short, precise psyche-tinged songs, so it’s something of a surprise to find that their third album has only two tracks, one of which is 31 minute long. The Grateful Dead comparisons come to the fore on this extended piece of space-rock, but it really works and is a triumph. The other, shorter song is great as well, so kudos to them for trying something different.
