I really loved 2012’s 'Dark Eyes', and so got 2015's follow-up 'Sun Leads Me On’, only to find that the band had lost that spark that made ‘Dark Eyes’ so special. For this one they sound like a different band altogether, much more mainstream and inoffensive, whereas I wanted them to shock me. It’s not a bad album if you like Snow Patrol-style indie, but to be honest I expected something with a bit more edge.
