I fancied a bit of hard rock recently and so headed in the direction of Australia’s Mammoth Mammoth, and their fifth album ‘Kreuzung', where I was treated to a collection of Motorhead and AC/DC-inspired hard rockers. The band have a no-nonsense approach to heavy metal, but can temper that with memorable hard-rock riffing and concise, catchy tunes, meaning that none of the eleven songs outstays its welcome.
